Community Service
Embrace Challenge. Support One Another.
As part of the International Baccalaureate (IB) Program, Chavez Middle School students are encouraged to participate in community service throughout their middle school years. By serving the community, it is the aim of IB that students gain a global perspective and see that we impact the lives of others through our own actions.
At Chavez students are encouraged to complete the following service hours:
Grade 6: 10 Hours
Grade 7: 20 Hours
Grade 8: 30 Hours

*Due to travel restraints, students may choose to complete all hours on or off campus.
